I have since replaced one with an Apple keyboard (because I bought a Mac) and I still use the other on my Windows 7 desktop system because it' s my premium ergo setup (with a Herman-Miller Embody chair, yes, I' m that serious) and I don' t use that system so much for typing. I shifted back to a regular keyboard for a while, but found it very uncomfortable, after having used Microsofts ergonomic keyboard. I started off with the wireless desktop set, which cost about INR 7,000. The new Gull Wing design features a 14-degree gable, a natural arc and a curved key bed bringing the keys closer to your fingers to reduce reach and unnecessary motion, while encouraging a more natural typing position. For about a decade, I have been using Microsofts Natural Ergonomic 4000 keyboard. After a couple of months, I got so tired of finding typos in my documents where I had just completely missed letters, I gave up.I bought two of these. The Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 has been expertly crafted to allow you to work in a more natural position. There’re a lot of useful functional buttons on this keyboard, including a zoom slider in the middle. Though the typing experience is not good as a mechanical keyboard, it does save my left wrist. If I plug the dongle into the back of my computer where it' s a) out of sight and b) not likely to get stepped on or kicked and broken off, I can' t use my keyboard or mouse! For crying out loud.As for the mushy keys, I hate, hate those but figured I could live with it for the comfort factor. Finally Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 is what I got. I would have thought they would have learned to do RF by now, but apparently I was wrong. This is by far the most comfortable keyboard I' ve ever owned. Why the dongle in the front? Because like the other wireless Microsoft wireless keyboard I owned years ago, it has a range of about 2 feet.
